The 2010 WPT Invitational kicks off tomorrow night continuing the ~~party~~ tradition that is always one of the most fun tournaments of the year. We think Gordon had a great time helping us cover the 2009 WPT Invitational, but we haven't seen him since. The WPT politely requested we not bring him back in 2010, but his 2009 performance (below) set the bar high for this year's coverage.

2009 won't be the summer of George, at least as far as the WSOP is concerned as Jason Alexander was eliminated last night on a brutal bad beat. Alexander called a bet for all his chips with the best hand, but it couldn't hold up when the river card made trips for his opponent and sent him packing. We asked him about the hand and his impact on the world of poker.

We caught up with Nelly before the PokerStars party during the 2009 WSOP where he explained how anyone can be a professional poker player.

We're going through the archives and found this gem from '05 where Scotty Nguyen talks about his favorite starting hand.

Howard Lederer's sister Annie Duke recently appeared on the Celebrity Apprentice where she lost to Joan Rivers in the finals. Here Howard talks about how poker players and the poker industry were portrayed on the show and how the family has no love lost for Donald Trump.
