For 3 days we laughed together, sleuthed together, and most of all refreshed together. Our normal daily lives took a backseat to the ever-growing monster that had us glued in front of our computers. Money, sex, drugs, poker, adultery, and mental illness - this story had it all.
Would we ever find out if Newhizzle knew what Brandi was up to on his poker account? Was there a chance that he really only got a handjob or did he SIIHP? Would Captain Tom figure out the internet enough to log on to 2p2 to try clear his name? Creativity was everywhere as we waited for these crucial answers as the best of 2p2 spawned movie posters, songs, gimmick posts, and more that will be sure to have us laughing for years.
Two of the main characters Brandi Hawbaker and Mark "Newhizzle" Newhouse stepped into the spotlight and aired their dirty laundry while other key contributors (Sponger's necessary nudes, Pokulator and Pokerwire's wild videos, Shaniac's, "you smoked my weed bitch!" and the Poker Mom's ability to make sense of it all) kept it going between the key posts. Naming names is only to give credit where credit is due, but the real beauty of this thread was that it was a product of the entire community. Never Trust Anyone wouldn't have been as great as it was without the contributions of so many different interesting people. Who can forget BluffThis starting it off with his over the top rant, or when the wrestling announcer excitedly announced Captain Tom's arrival only to have it be a Cornell Fiji gimmick account, or even Sup Bro? stopping by to tell us how he did it back in '95.
