Chip Reese, defending $50K H.O.R.S.E. Champion

The second day of the WSOP $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship saw the field cut to 52 players when played ceased for the day 2 early this morning. The chip leaders ~~- John Hanson – 641,000, Toto Leonidas – 621,000, Eli Elezra – 568,000, and Allen Cunningham – 549,000 -~~ will return on Tuesday at 2:00 pm for day 3 of the scheduled 5 day event. Included in the remaining field are former WSOP World Champions Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Huck Seed and Greg Raymer. The women are well represented by Cyndy Violette, Isabelle Mercier and Annie Duke. Defending 2006 Champion Chip Reese has chips along with actor Gabe Kaplan, crowd favorite Daniel Negreanu, vocalist Mike Matusow, author David Sklansky, and Italy’s own Max Pescatori.
