Why does a 10k first place feel much better than a 10k 2nd place or a 9k 3rd? It's because Im competitive fuck who wants all the glory mobney and titles thats why!
Anyway, today I got up like at 12pm for some wierd reason, I decided to stay up. At around 6 pm I started playing the $300, which is my absolute favorite tourney online, when all of a sudden I couldn't keep my eyes open, I pretty much gave away my chips within 30 minutes. I decided to take a 1 hr nap before the $150 that I really wanted another shot at. My alarm went off but I obv woke up 3 minutes after it started..ugh.. I was left with 2 tourneys to play the "oyster" 100 r on paradise, and the 55r on stars...for the first time ever I got away with not having to rebuy more than 4 times in each (I did the min in the 100r and probably 250 in the 55r), I had the chiplead in the 55r but quickly lost it when my QK ran into 10 10 on a QQ10 10 2 board.. nice cooler.
Anyway after that I got extremely lucky as the short stack deep in both tourneys, funny things happened like my 57 cracking AA (I think I might have been slowrolled there, either that or his connection sucked) or my QJ cracking AA (I think it was AA maybe KK). Also one time I went all in basically drawing dead vs two players and the board came 5 hearts, no one had a heart. I also got unlucky losing with AA vs Prodigy's QJ, and then AK on a K high board vs K10 10 on the riv. either way it was pretty crazy, but I ended up like $11k maybe? counting the 100r FT (didnt look at the payout for that). Also as I type this, I have not slept since my nap, its 7 am and my damned delayed flight to Atlanta is barely boarding...I killed some time playing 30/60 HU on ub and won like 1400, felt bad that I had to hit n run the dude but my flight is leaving...I'll post more from vegas.... |
