Discounts at Rue 21 and Las Vegas Outlet Center

About once every couple years, we make a point of stocking our closet with the latest fashions just to keep up with the young hip kids. While we’re still puzzled why long shirts are in fashion for men when to us it just looks like a nightgown, that doesn’t stop us from buying one or two to use as sleepwear.

Such was the case this weekend, when we visited the always reliable Las Vegas Outlet Center, located a mile or so south of the Strip (7400 Las Vegas Blvd. South).

Here you’ll find 130 outlets of brand names at discounted prices. And quality brand names, such as Nike, Reebok, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Perry Ellis, Haggar, Skechers, and much more.

One of the places we shopped was Rue 21, a cool clothing store that’s currently offering a buy one pair of shorts, get one for 50 percent off. They had select shirts for sale the same way.

They’re also issuing coupons at the register for $10 off ($20 purchase) or $20 off ($40 purchase), for June 14-18.

Prices are already cheap enough and with the coupon, we too can look like we’re trying to be 20 years younger.
