Less than four weeks remain before the start of the biggest event in poker. The 2007 World Series of Poker will open Friday June 1st at Noon with a $5000 World Championship Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No-Limit) event. The 2007 WSOP will offer a record 55 bracelet events.

The 2007 WSOP will not be the only game in town. The Venetian Poker Room has scheduled the Deep Stack Extravaganza II that runs concurrently and compliments the WSOP. A full month of daily events will include No-Limit Hold’em, Omaha 8 or Better, Pot Limit Omaha, and H.O.R.S.E. Event buy-ins will range from $330 to $1060.
