Cocaine pulled from shelves

Yesterday, Las Vegas-based beverage company Redux Beverages pulled its controversial energy drink called Cocaine.
Under notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for advertising the drink as a dietary supplement and street drug alternative, the drink would first have to be approved as a drug to continue being promoted the same way.
To avoid possible legal action, Redux withdrew the product from all stores across the country.
Plans are to market the drink under a new name.
We recommend not calling it Heroin.
