ANGEL JILTS DRIVER FOR DIAZ IN SIN CITY

London newspaper The Daily Mail is reporting that Oscar-nominated actress Minnie Driver’s fiance has, in a rather public manner, left her for Cameron Diaz.

TV magician Criss Angel was spotted canoodling with Diaz at Bellagio’s Prime Steakhouse on Monday evening. They departed for the Mirage in Angel’s Rolls-Royce and took in the Cirque de Soleil show “Love.” The two were wrapping up a long weekend in Sin City, where they attended the VH1 Rock Honors and partied later that night with Drew Barrymore at the Mirage’s nightclub, Jet.

This is the third public romantic jilting for poor Minnie. In 1997 Matt Damon dumped her on-air during an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, and in 2001 her relationship with Josh Brolin imploded only six months after getting engaged.

Diaz has seen her own share of public breakups as well, having split from Justin Timberlake in January.

Angel and Driver announced their engagement in September 2006.
