Green Valley Ranch Resort’s new poker room.

Green Valley Ranch Resort, located in Henderson on the south side of the Las Vegas metropolis recently completed a part of an addition to the property and opened an all new digital state-of-the-art race and sports book plus an adjoining large, 22 tables, poker room. The poker room is the cutting edge of technology with a Genesis management system that allows players to place themselves on interest list for any poker game plus absolute tracking for hours, games and limits played.

I’ve always liked the Green Valley property and surrounding grounds. I especially enjoy the peace and quiet of a major Vegas resort without the inconvenience of navigating the crowded Las Vegas strip. It’s a refreshing change. I drove out to the resort on Thursday to see the just opened poker room and was not disappointed. There was a good crowd filling many of the poker tables. The room certainly shows the design influence of Station’s Red Rock Casino’s wildly popular poker room. Spacious, luxurious, quiet and the most modern digital systems in the business make this a must play room. 22 large screen plasma displays are recessed into the paneled walls so players won’t miss a thing from the sporting events and news from around the world.

Cutting edge digital technology makes the room a pleasure for players and staff.

I suggest a visit to the facility to experience the latest in poker room technology. They spread a variety of limit and no-limit hold’em games plus $4-$8 Omaha High. They will spread anything if there is enough player interest. Therer is always plenty of action to satisfy even the most jaded adrenalin junkies.

The final table for the WPT’s championship event at the Bellagio’s Festa Al Lago Tournament has been determined and will be played at 4:00 pm on Friday. The chip leader going into the final day is Joe Pelton with $2,923,000 followed by David Baker at $1,652,000. If you’re in the neighbor Friday stop in and be a part of the TV audience for the event.
