The ongoing Ellix Powers Saga part six

Ellix came through big time on a few promises, namely giving me an autographed hat from his poker academy and having his man Mickey come to town to back him. I met him at the Rio, and he was all smiles and advice, it wasn’t until the drive home that he gave me a few choice quotes.

We were driving back down town and he was taking me a circuitous but expeditious route, which he claimed to have driven “About a thousand times, a hundred thousand times”, when we passed a shitty little tire store and he said “That’s the best tire shop there is, cheap tires” “What kind of car did you have?” “I lived in a van” I didn’t inquire as to whether he positioned said van down by the river.

He told me he was going to get into the limit hold ‘em shootout event for the world series of poker and I asked him if the documentary crew was coming back for it. He responded "I don’t even want to talk about those motherfuckers, fuck them, the fuck do I need them for, I got ESPN."
