Thursday at the 20078 World Series of Poker was another day for teh record book. Final tables for two events were played in the gargantuan Rio Pavilion Poker Room. ESPN cameras focused on Event #8, $1000 buyin No-Limit Hold’em with Rebuys. Heads Up came down to Michael Chu facing real estate mogul, Tommy Vu for the bracelet contest. The cards favored Michael Chu on this day and he reigned supreme to take the gold and the $585,744 in cash. Event #9, $1500 Buyin Omaha Hi Lo, held its final table and played until one player remained with all the chips. Alex Kravchenko held onto his chip lwead and finally scooped them all from his heads up opponent and second place finisher, bryan Devonshire.
