James Richburg, winner of the $2500 H.O.R.S.E. Event


Going into the early morning, WSOP Event #16, $2500 H.O.R.S.E., finally ended after hours of heads-up play between James Richburg and Walter Browne. Winner James Richburg had to overcome Browne’s big chip lead for the victory. During a Browne card drought Richburg caught up and never looked back until he had all the chips. James Richburg got a gold bracelet and $239,503 in cash while second place finisher Walter Browne takes home $131,790. Congratulations to James Richburg for his win.

FYI, Walter Browne is an internationally known Chess Grandmaster.
