Main tournament room is filled with a record 2998 entrants for event #3
Day #2 of the 2007 WSOP was a record setter when 2998 players took a seat in the $1500 No-Limit Hold’em event #3. The number could have been higher had the crush of players not overpowered the registration process. Event #1 was playing day 2 with Johnny Chan making the short list in his quest for bracelet #11 before he was eliminated in 31st place.
