Gus Hansen wins 2007 Aussie Millions
Gus Hansen added to his list of impressive titles with a victory at the 2007 Aussie Millions Crown Casino Poker Championship in Melbourne, Australia. Hansen won $1.5 million for his efforts while second place finisher Jimmy “Gobboboy” Fricke collected a cool million.
Fricke had been running amazingly hot on his run to the final table coming from behind in many hands to put bad beats on his opponents. Heads up play began with Fricke holding a 3 to 1 chiplead over Hansen, but Hansen battled back and eventually took down the title when his pocket Aces held up against Fricke’s straight and flush draws.

Bonomo Continues his hot streak at the PCA
Justin Bonomo is kicking off 2007 just as he finished 2006, by getting deep in major tournaments. Bonomo (AKA ZeeJustin) is one of the 16 remaining players in the 2007 Pokerstars.com Caribbean Adventure following four final table appearances in his last tournament, the Five Diamond Classic.
Bonomo has stated that his goal is to win the “2007 Player of the Year” award and will be in the lead with a win at the PCA. ZeeJustin prop bets were all over the 2P2 forums and many who bet against ZeeJustin will start worrying if ZeeJustin pulls off a win at the PCA. Poker Stars may also prefer a different champion after banning Bonomo from playing on their site early in 2006 and accusing him of cheating.
Leading the tournament is Isaac Haxton with $3,754,000 chips and he is followed by Jonathan Little, one of the ship it holla ballas with $2,084,000.
Robert Mizrachi, brother of 2006 player of the year Michael “the Grinder” Mizrachi, is in third in chips and can keep the family’s player of year the streak hopes alive with a top finish. Last year’s PCA champion Steve Paul-Ambrose made a strong repeat bid, but was knocked out in 20th place winning $30,026.

On the verge of a trip home for the holidays, it looked like my losing streak was ready to come to an end. I lucked my way into a fifty dollar gain from Indianapolis trouncing the bengals because I refused to back down from some shit talking Id done earlier regarding the game and commited to a bigger figure than I had available to lose at such pursuits. Slick Willy was on the wrong end of the exchange, and was routinely mocked upon his arrival at the weekly poker game. We reconvened at the mansion for the last action thursday of 2006, with Crofton, Will, and myself having a full hour to kill before the remaining three players could arrive. In that time, Crofton changed out of a suit and tie at the same time as getting hammered alone and went from corporate stooge to drinking red wine straight from the bottle in a matter of thirty minutes. We took to watching last weeks saturday night live “dick in a box” sketch which if you havent youtubed yet you are missing out on, and for the remainder of the night the uniform symbol of dominance was raising your arms condescendingly as if your victim had just opened a package to reveal your penis.finish reading Make Her Open That Box
