We're in the Money at the 2010 LAPC

Pokulator favorite Mark "Newhizzle" Newhouse leads the way at the 2010 LAPC as the bubble burst and all remaining players get paid. During the first break I tried to tell Newhouse that I had a camera malfunction

We are still investigating rumors that Howard Lederer intentionally busted out of this tournament prior to making the money due to his sister, Annie Duke's constant complaining just two seats to his left. Here he can been seen attempting to plug his ears while chanting "I can't hear you" before busting just short of the money. Casino cameras may or may not have captured Lederer saying as he exited, "I just couldn't take it anymore, it was just like when we were kids. She just wouldn't stop."

Lauren Kling is making another deep tournament run and definitely brightens up the room.
Update: Unfortunately Lauren couldn't Kling onto her last chips and busted in 63rd place.

Daniel Negreanu came into the day as chipleader, but left slightly lighter in chips after spending most of the day watching Canada in the gold medal game, and himself on ESPN 2 during the broadcast of the WSOPE.

Vanessa Rousso questions her opponent here after she laid down the best hand to his bet on the turn. Rousso folded her flush face up and when the raiser showed trip 9's she went on a tirade saying "I don't understand what you are doing!" to the guy. Luckily for him, that is the goal of the game.

Live update hostess for the LAPC Jacque Williams sits down with Prahlad Friedman during one of the breaks.

Negreanu said many things during the tournament that elicited face-palms. Then he went home after the tournament and wrote a face-palm worthy blog entry.

More Lauren Kling

The woman in white tanked for the entire break before deciding to make the wrong call and eliminate herself from the tournament. She ended up with a huge crowd gathered around her to see her get busted out and the buster had to go with no break since she tanked for so long.

Matt Savage (far left) unsuccessfully tries to convince the big spenders at Commerce to take their seats in the high roller event as Savage only had 1 player at the tables at the scheduled start time for the event.

Savy tournament director Savage called the bluff, started the clock, and finally got them moving.
